Splatoon adds Hammerhead Bridge to stage rotation

Nintendo has announced that Hammerhead Bridge is now available as part of Splatoon’s daily stage rotation.

The Wii U exclusive has been steadily treated to new weapons, maps and tweaks in the months since launch, with the new stage being based around terrain that is “split into two distinct layers.”

“Verticality is a feature of the stage, with the terrain split into two distinct layers,” the Squid Research Lab shares. “Ink assaults can come from any direction, but watch out for attacks from above or below gratings in the floor or ceiling in particular. Battles here are sure to be dynamic affairs playing out in all corners of the stage.”
