Nintendo has released a new software update for Splatoon 2, which sees the ink-based shooter now on version 5.0.0.
This extensive update has added Turf War (Splatfest) to the modes that are available in Private Battle, and the Splatfest Tee Replica as new gear.
There are other changes and bug fixes to multiplayer, such as how clams are positioned in Clam Blitz matches on all stages, terrain changes to the Shellendorf Institute and New Albacore Hotel stages, adjustments to main weapons and special weapons, and more.
Splatoon 2 is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
