Nintendo has announced new free content that will soon be added to Nintendo Switch exclusive, Splatoon 2.
In a special video announcement from the Squid Research Lab, producer Hisashi Nogami revealed that the Manta Maria stage will join the rotation for Turf War and Ranked Battle modes from Saturday 26th August.
Then, from Saturday 2nd September, the new Bubble Blower special weapon will become available – first in a weapon set with the Forge Splattershot Pro.
And that’s not all, either, with the new Lost Outpost stage to be added to the popular co-operative Salmon Run mode from tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd August.
Gamescom 2017 attendees will have the chance to play on the Manta Maria stage and use the Bubble Blower, while a livestream at 10am BST today. Whereas a livestream at 12pm BST tomorrow will show the Lost Outpost stage.
Splatoon 2 is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
