Stefo Mai Morojna has confirmed that Spaceflight Simulator is coming to Nintendo Switch.

You will have the chance to let your imagination run wild, mixing and matching parts – such as fuel tanks, payload systems and engines that employ “completely accurate rocket physics” – to create the rocket of your dreams or to even recreate famous SpaceX, Apollo or NASA rockets.

You can then blast them into the stratosphere to explore a vast and realistically-sized Solar System, whether that see you experience the extreme heat and dense atmosphere of Venus or the cold red dusky mountains of Mars and its low-gravity twin moons Phobos and Deimos.

“It’s hard to believe a project started from my bedroom as a job application for Kerbal Space Program has been played by tens of millions of people and is now coming to PC and Nintendo,” explains lead developer Stefo Mai Morojna. “Needless to say, I didn’t get the job. But I did get a passionate community just as excited about space exploration as I am!”

Spaceflight Simulator will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2022.
