Daedalic Entertainment has announced that The Long Journey Home will release on Nintendo Switch.
In this award-winning space exploration RPG, a group of explorers from Earth becomes lost in space after humanity’s first FTL jump goes wrong.
With their spacecraft barely holding together and resources continuing to dwindle, it is up to you to choose your four-strong crew, explore your environment, work out how to communicate with alien races, and ultimately try to return home.
In each of your playthroughs, you will meet four alien races from a potential 15 in this procedurally generated experience. It is up to you to decide how to deal with them – whether that be peacefully or through other means – as you otherwise navigate your ship across the galaxy, steering clear of black holes and alien warships.
Landing on strange planets may damage your ship and place your crew in danger, meaning that you must carefully consider your options before making crucial decisions.
The Long Journey Home is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide priced at £26.99 ($29.99).
