Activision have announced that they will extend their worldwide licensing arrangements for Skylanders to include fruit snacks, cereals, a magazine, comic book and colouring books.
Such news was shared at the Licensing Expo 2014, where the publisher announced partnerships with General Mills, Immediate Media, IDW, Crayola, and Penguin.
The result of which will see Skystones on the back of cereal boxes across North America, with General Mills to also produce Skylanders-shaped Fruit Flavored Snacks, Fruit by the Foot and Fruit Gushers. While a brand campaign later in the year will see the monsters appear on Go-Gurt and Trix Yogurt Cups.
Penguin will produce the Skylanders SWAP Force Official Guide, Immediate Media will launch an official Skylanders magazine, IDW will create the first official Skylanders comic book series that acts as a prequel to this year’s Skylanders Trap Team. Whereas Crayola will introduce Skylanders-branded Xtreme Coloring and Activity Pads in spring 2015.
