Shiny Rayquaza now available over Nintendo Network in North America

While those in the United Kingdom and Australia will have to hotfoot it to retailers Smyths Toys Superstores and EB Games, Shiny Rayquaza is being distributed in a far simpler way to those in North America.

Now available and running until 14th September 2015, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire players can connect to Nintendo Network to receive the Level 70 Dragon and Flying-type Legendary Pokémon.

The Shiny Rayquaza will have Dragon Dance, Dragon Ascent, Dragon Claw and Extreme Speed moves, and holds the Dragon Fang item – which raises the power of Dragon-type moves. Whereas Dragon Ascent is required to Mega Evolve into Shiny Mega Rayquaza in battle.

To claim Shiny Rayquaza in your game:
1. Select ‘Mystery Gift’ on the main menu, and then ‘Receive Gift.’ Select ‘Yes’ to confirm.
2. Select ‘Get via Internet,’ and then select ‘Yes’ to confirm.
3. Watch as you receive Shiny Rayquaza!
4. Resume the game, make sure you have an empty space in your party, and speak to the delivery girl in any Center to add Shiny Rayquaza!
5. Be sure to save your game!
