Devolver Digital and Pastagames have announced that their “chaotic, joyful multiplayer platformer” KarmaZoo will release on Nintendo Switch.
In an experience for up to 10 players which “encourages connection, cooperation and generally just being a cool, nice person,” you will take control of one of 50 pixelated animal avatars and must use their unique abilities to help you and your crew work as a team – even if that means heroically sacrificing yourself – to harvest Karma.
In Loop mode, you will work together – with old friends or new ones you meet online through cross-platform multiplayer – to overcome increasingly challenging, dynamic levels that will adapt to the size of your team and chosen characters. Whereas Totem mode is more competitive, letting up to eight players go head-to-head in frantic, quick-fire minigames.
KarmaZoo will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2023.
