Senran Kagura series producer Kenichiro Takaki has shared that he is particularly excited about HD Rumble on Nintendo Switch.
Touted by Nintendo as delivering “a sense of touch that goes beyond mere vibrations,” the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 provided an example in that players could not only be able to feel that there are ice cubes in a glass, but it being so realistic that you can tell how many are clanking around.
“It’s the HD Rumble after all. Because I want to express ‘softness’ with it,” Takaki replied to Famitsu, asked what excites him most about Nintendo Switch.
“I already created a project, and now I’m in the middle of focusing on how to realise it. I think games have a ‘sensation of touching’ in many meanings, so I want to realise a new experience that’s exclusive to Nintendo Switch.”
Nintendo Switch will launch worldwide on March 3rd, priced at £279.99 ($299.99).
