Ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games kicking off today, SEGA have distributed a message to 3DS owners through Nintendo Letter Box.
Within, SEGA president Naoya Tsurumi thanks players for supporting the release of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, and recommends that everyone downloads the free Virtual Card Album made available recently through the Nintendo eShop.
It’s great to see the messaging service increasingly used on such a personal level, and consumers will surely respect the appreciative contact from such senior figures within the industry.
“Hello! I’m Naoya Tsurumi, President of SEGA,” the message begins. “Did you have fun playing Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games?
“We have put together a Mario & Sonic London 2012 Virtual Card Album. You can download it for free from Nintendo eShop!
“This feature is not available in some countries. Please check Nintendo eShop for more details! See you next time!”
