Nintendo of America has revealed that San Diego Comic-Con attendees will have the chance to buy an exclusive item.
The new Hot Wheels Mario Kart die-cast vehicles and track sets will be on show at the Mattel booth, and, for those in attendance, the Metal Mario die-cast car and glider ($20) will be sold exclusively at the event while supplies last.
To make that even more exciting, one out of every 10 vehicles that are sold will be a special Gold Mario die-cast car and glider.
The Hot Wheels Mario Kart replica line has 1:64th scale die-cast Mario Kart vehicles that can race, stunt, and crash on Hot Wheels Mario Kart track sets.
These are also compatible with existing Hot Wheels sets, and, at launch, the initial karts will be Mario, Yoshi, Luigi, and Bowser – with Princess Peach, Koopa Troopa, Toad, and more additional characters coming soon.
The Hot Wheels Mario Kart die-cast vehicles and track sets will release worldwide in Summer 2019.
