Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien nearing completion

Gaijin Games have announced that they have nearly completed development of Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien.

The downloadable title is being prepped for a Nintendo eShop release on Wii U, and is a direct sequel to Bit.Trip Runner.

“This is the last art Friday,” Gaijin Games wrote on their developer blog last week. “Don’t cry. It’s a good thing!”

“This means we are close to finished with BIT.TRIP Presents Runner2: Future Legend Of Rhythm Alien! Come Monday all art and animation will be in and 98% and ready to ship.

“We will spend a little time working on fixing art bugs bringing us to 100% completion and then… well, then at some point we will release the game and you can play it!”
