Headup Games and 13AM Games have announced that Runbow will make a dash onto the Nintendo Switch next month, with a physical release to hit retailers in the coming months.

With an eye-catching colour mechanic that has players brawl with each other while objects and platforms appear or disappear based on the constantly changing background colour, Runbow will see you compete against each other in Run mode, battle to the death in Arena, or try a colourful take on King of the Hill.

And then there are more than 140 levels in Adventure, and Bowhemoth, which is a single, uninterrupted platforming challenge that will test even the pros.

All multiplayer modes can be played by up to 9 players simultaneously online, or with 8 players in local multiplayer.

The Runbow Deluxe Edition will include all downloadable content and some “nice physical goodies” which will be announced nearer launch.

Runbow will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on April 24th, and the Runbow Deluxe Edition will be made available at retail on June 14th.
