Rumour: Resident Evil Downfall headed to Nintendo 3DS

It has emerged that Capcom may be set to release ‘Resident Evil: Degeneration-Damnation-Downfall 3D’ later this year.

Such information was shared by Digital Spy but has since been removed, yet point toward a new Nintendo 3DS entry titled ‘Downfall’ to be accompanied by two computer-animated films, ‘Degeneration’ and ‘Damnation’, that will be included on the game cartridge.

Resident Evil: Downfall is reportedly set to take place between the events of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6, and will see the player in the role of Claire Redfield as she witnesses the downfall of humanity.
If there’s any truth to such rumour, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) will surely hold the answer.
