Rumour: Dead Space series headed to Wii U

Update: The job listing has since been updated following the eagle-eyed efforts of N-Europe.

Following a rather rumour-filled morning, a job listing at Visceral Games Montreal has revealed that the studio is preparing an entry within EA’s Dead Space series for an unnannounced platform.

Whilst not the primary developer behind the Dead Space series, Visceral Games Montreal do provide development support for the core Visceral Games studio based in Redwood. With the Wii U on the horizon, it is certainly a possibility that the franchise is headed to Nintendo’s forthcoming platform.

The vacancy, which can be seen at Creative Heads, is for a Senior Environment Artist on a project that is headed to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and a third “unannounced” platform.
