Rogue Trooper Redux Breaks Cover On Nintendo Switch

Rebellion has announced that the most feared soldier on Nu Earth will make a return in Rogue Trooper Redux on Nintendo Switch.

This will be a remastered version of the original 2006 release, developed in partnership with TickTock Games.

Rogue Trooper had brought the the cult sci-fi strip to life in a tactical, cover-based third-person shooter, which was met positively by critics to sit with a 71 Metascore on Metacritic.

2000 AD’s Rogue, a bio-engineered Genetic Infantryman immune to the planet’s poisonous atmosphere, will make a last stand against the colonial Nort regime, who, carrying three fallen comrades as biochips in his equipment, is a one-unit squad of death and destruction with only revenge on his mind.

We only have a teaser trailer to watch so far, but more news is promised in the coming months.
