Devolver Digital and Nerial have revealed that Reigns: Game of Thrones will release on Nintendo Switch next week, challenging you to ascend the Iron Throne and rule Westeros with a swipe.
If you hadn’t guessed, this is a crossover between HBO’s award-winning fantasy drama and Nerial’s swipe ’em up series.
Thanks to Melisandre’s fiery visions you can rule as Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, or others, and must outwit political rivals while maintaining the balance and favor of your people to extend your reign.
That will challenge you to carefully navigate the complex relationships and hostile factions of the Seven Kingdoms, to maybe, one day, survive the horrors of the coming winter.
You must swipe left or right to determine how you react to the situations that you are confronted with, or, if a particular character becomes bothersome, tear their card in half. And, when you need some downtime, there are regal mini games like jousting and tavern brawls.
Reigns: Game of Thrones will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on April 11th, priced at £3.59 ($3.99).
