Reggie Fils-Aime: Reaction to Nintendo 3DS health warnings “over the top”

Following heightening concerns over health warnings that revealed that Nintendo’s latest handheld, the Nintendo 3DS, shouldn’t be played by children under the age of seven, Reggie Fils-Aime has dismissed the reaction as being “over the top.”

“It certainly has been a reaction that has been a bit over the top,” Fils-Aime commented to Reuters during an interview, before explaining that those over the age of seven “can certainly enjoy the 3D features.”

The handheld, due to launch in Europe on March 25th and North America on March 27th priced at £229.99 and $249.99 respectively, allows the user to view both 3D graphics and video alongside the ability to take 3D photos without the need for glasses.
