Rayman Legends has been confirmed through a leaked trailer, grabbed by Gamekult before Ubisoft moved to have it removed from YouTube.
It reveals that the sequel is headed to Wii U, and will support the ‘Near Field Communication’ (NFC) capabilities previously discussed by Nintendo.
Players will be able to place objects directly onto the tablet controller’s touch screen, including a Raving Rabbid and Heart, which then result in elements directly in-game. Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin’s Creed II is also teased, although footage of the effects of its use are not shown.
Four-player multiplayer is also confirmed, with one player using the controller to assist three others each using Wii Remotes.
