With a mighty “Bwaaaah!” Rabbids Invasion will return to television screens next year, with Ubisoft confirming that it has been renewed for a second season.
After the success of the first season it will air on Nickelodeon in mid-2014 on Saturday mornings, divided up into 26 half-hour blocks that will each show three episodes.
Those that need to catch up on season one can find episodes on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, PlayStation Store, Samsung Media Hub and Vudu.
“Our partnership with Ubisoft’s one-of-a-kind creatures has generated much success and laughter over this past year. Bringing them to Nickelodeon proved to resonate with our audience, and we look forward to continuing the wild and zany adventures for a second season,” comments Nickelodeon’s president of content development and production Russell Hicks.
Ubisoft Motion Pictures’ chief executive officer Jean-Julien Baronnet adds, “Partnering with Nickelodeon has been an excellent opportunity for Ubisoft Motion Pictures to share and expand the Rabbids brand to a television audience.
