Pokkén Tournament to release in Japanese arcades in July

Pokkén Tournament will release in arcades across Japan in July 2015, it has been confirmed.

Serebii reports that Bandai Namco Entertainment shared the news through an update on the game’s official website.

Having otherwise been scheduled for summer 2015, we’ve had chance to learn plenty of information about the Pokémon brawler since it was first announced. Importantly, the character roster now comprises of Lucario, Machamp, Blaziken, Suicune, Gardevoir, and Pikachu, and, most recently announced, Gengar.

What remains unclear at this point are plans for Pokkén Tournament beyond arcades, which many hope will see it eventually see release on Wii U.
