Pokémon X & Y’s Dedenne set for Super Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai has revealed that Pokémon X and Pokémon Y critter Dedenne will make an appearance within the game’s Wii U and 3DS outings.

The Electric and Fairy-type Antenna Pokémon uses its tail to absorb electricity from power sources which it then fires from its whiskers. It rivals Pikachu on the adorable scale, although the rather thunderous attack that it can unleash as a support character in Super Smash Bros. looks like one that’s certainly worth avoiding.

It isn’t the first Pokémon X & Y addition that has been mentioned for the brawler, with Sakurai previously teasing the inclusion of Fairy-type Legendary Pokémon, Xerneas.
