In their continual reveal of new features making their way into Pokémon X and Y, Nintendo have announced the inclusion of O-Powers.
These are described as being special powers that will aid your progression throughout the game, their benefits seeing you temporarily able to increase your Pokémon’s stats, increase experience points or prize money gained, or make wild Pokémon easier to catch.
Such effects aren’t just for you either, with players either able to share their O-Powers with others playing nearby, or with a specific Trainer. When used, these expend an energy bar that appears to reset each day – more being consumed when used on yourself, compared to when used on others.
Pokémon X and Y will release worldwide on October 12th.
