Japanese Nintendo 3DS owners will be able to purchase special download cards for Pokémon X and Y, it has been announced.
Whilst physical copies will also still be available at retail, having a digital copy will have the obvious benefit of being able to play without the need to be carrying a game card around with you.
It’s a sizeable download though, setting you back approximately 14,000 blocks (1.7GB) on your SD Card, with Nintendo clarifying that if you have digital copies of both titles they’ll be unable to communicate with each other on the same Nintendo 3DS.
