Pokémon Tretta Lab receives introduction trailer

Nintendo have shared a lengthy introduction trailer for Pokémon Tretta Lab, although entirely in Japanese.

It provides a detailed overview of the game’s features, including checking statistics through an in-game Pokédex, alongside Pokémon-type advantages over enemies.

The crux however is battling, with players collecting game tiles that can be slotted in a scanner add-on for the Nintendo 3DS. Three modes can be enjoyed: the Tretta Analyzer for displaying stats; the Type Checker for learning about Pokémon; and Auto Battle, which is exclusive to the handheld version and sees you battling different Tretta tiles.

Pokémon Tretta Lab is due to launch across Japan on August 10th, priced at 3,800 yen (£25).
