The Pokémon Company International has revealed Pokémon: Path to the Peak, a short animated series that will premiere at the 2023 Pokémon World Championships this week.
This animated series will tell the story of Ava, who works hard to enter the world of competitive Pokémon Trading Card Game play. Working alongside her family, friends and her partner Pokémon Oddish, she hopes that she has what it takes to rise to the very top.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Pokémon world together for the premiere of our newest short animated series Pokémon: Path to the Peak at the PACIFICO Yokohama on August 11 alongside the Pokémon World Championships,” enthuses The Pokémon Company International senior director of media production Andy Gose.
“Pokémon: Path to the Peak is a tale that brings the Pokémon Trading Card Game to life as you have never seen before. Set in the compelling world of competitive Trading Card Game play, it’s the story of our hero Ava who discovers her natural talent alongside her partner Pokémon Oddish. With the support of family, community and newfound friends, she sets her goal to rise to the very top.”
Pokémon: Path to the Peak’s first episode will premiere on the official Pokémon YouTube channel around the world on Friday 11 August 2023.
