Having confirmed that the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire demo will be released in the west, it has today been announced that it will be made available across Europe on Wednesday 15th October.

The ‘Special Demo Version’ will be available through GAME, Amazon UK, Smyth Toys Superstores, ShopTo and the Nintendo UK Official Store, and then later, in mid-November, from partner websites.

As already revealed, this will allow players to encounter “a familiar Pokémon that can now Mega Evolve” which can be transferred across to either Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Reward items can also be obtained and transferred, with more details to be announced shortly.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will release in Japan, Australia and North America on November 21st, and Europe on November 28th.

  1. Why cant they just release the free demo by nintendi eshop? Ive broke my leg and i will not be able to get to Game to get the damn code. I heard that nintendolife are going to release the codes on their site also but
    1. Are the codes one use only?
    2. If they are what are the chances of me getting 1 before someone else snatches it?
I hope that it is just one solitary code that everyone can use. What does everyone else think?
