Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! aren’t games without their secrets and easter eggs.
GameXplain has broken these down, whether that be Pokémon Shuffle and Pokkén Tournament DX being on the arcade machines in Game Corner in Celadon City, what you can find in Game Freak’s offices or the Nintendo Switch area in the Celadon City Department Store.
There are also multiple references to the Johto region, such as Gym Leader Koga wanting to join the Elite Four – which he will achieve there – or Sabrina mentioning that she “won’t encounter a Trainer like you for around another three years,” referencing the player’s Trainer character in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver.
And then there’s Archer, who you hear reading out a letter that he has written in which he sets out his plans to leave the Kanto region to “create an even stronger Team Rocket” – plans that became reality in Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver.
