The Pokémon Company has announced that the first season of the classic animation, Pokémon: Indigo League, can now be purchased digitally on iTunes, Google Play And Amazon.

This marks the first time that it can be watched in its entirety, with the season available to purchase either as individual episodes (£2.49) or the entire 13-episode season (£19.99) as a whole.

It traces Ash as he sets out on a journey to become a Pokémon Trainer on his 10th birthday. Rather than Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle, his starter Pokémon turns out to be the electric mouse Pikachu, who, after initially not getting along, work together with the help of their friends Brock and Misty to become the very best.
