Nintendo have unveiled plans to release an official Pokémon application for both iOS and Android devices, titled ‘Pokémon Say Tap?’
Due to be available free of charge across Japan over Summer, it combines music and on-screen Pokémon cards to create a rhythm based game.
You’ll be required to have the following to be able to download it: Apple devices running iOS 4.3, including iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4,iPod touch and iPad, as well as Android phones running Ver 2.1 encompassing Galaxy S, REGZA Phone IS04, Xperia arc and HTC Aria.
No word as yet on a western release, but I’m sure it’ll hopefully come eventually considering the global popularity of the Pokémon franchise.
