Pokémon Direct Scheduled This Friday

Nintendo has announced today that a Pokémon Direct will be broadcast this Friday, promising to share the latest news on Pokémon games.

This will air at 3pm GMT (4pm CET), and can be viewed on Twitch, YouTube or the Nintendo Direct website, through which the broadcast will be streamed.

2016 is a significant year for the brand, which marks 20 years since the first Pokémon games launched in Japan. Promising to celebrate 20 years of Pokémon, Serebii reports that the presentation will last five minutes.

While most are expecting Pokémon Z to be announced as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive, rumours recently emerged about Pokémon Rainbow.
