Pokémon Red and Blue originally released back in 1996, but it wasn’t until a few years later that Pokémon Center merchandising stores opened across Japan.

This year they’re celebrating their 15th anniversary, and to mark such fact will see numerous promotions and distribution events – such as the Eevee 3DS XL.

Alongside this, free Lv. 100 Pokémon are being made available periodically at each store, with those selected being an evolved form of that seen within the Pokémon Centers logo, and being supplied with a hidden item.

The schedule for this is as follows:
* Pokémon Center Sapporo: Lv. 100 Empeleon, May 15th-21st
* Pokémon Center Tohoku: Lv. 100 Serperior, May 22nd-28th
* Pokémon Center Tokyo: Lv. 100 Pikachu, May 29th-June 4th
* Pokémon Center Yokohama: Lv. 100 Torterra, June 5th-11th
* Pokémon Center Nagoya: Lv. 100 Infernape, June 12th-18th
* Pokémon Center Osaka: Lv. 100 Emboar, June 19th-25th
* Pokémon Center Fukuoka: Lv. 100 Samurott, June 26th-July 2nd
* ???: A random Pokémon from the above 7, July 3rd-7th

By showing any staff that you’ve received your reward, you can also nab a free poster card that have strategy guides on the back.

Additionally, a nation-wide Pokémon Center Battle event will be held between July 6-7th, which has a rule that participants must have one of the Lv. 100 Pokémon that have been given away.
