Pokémon Black and White sales top 1 million across Europe

Nintendo have announced that sales for both Pokémon Black and White Versions have now exceeded one million units across Europe, just ten days since the duo of games launched.

Exclusively available for the Nintendo DS, they have each shattered all previous sales records for Pokémon titles within the UK, bringing the total install base for the series in Europe to over 35 million units.

Fans can also look forward to innovative ways of enjoying Pokémon outside of the main game, with the Pokémon Global Link website due to go live on March 30th. Both Pokémon Black White allow you to upload your saved data to the website (www.pokemon-gl.com) and can then be used to access specialised content.

You’ll be able to enjoy a whole new way to play the game, as your actions while playing online will be reflected in your game’s saved data. Visiting the website, you can also discover new areas including the Pokémon Dream World and Global Battle Union.
