After regrettable delays, Pikmin 3 will launch across North America on August 4th it has been announced.
During today’s Nintendo 3DS Direct, the company took the opportunity to formally introduce ‘Winged Pikmin,’ which had been previously teased within the game’s E3 2012 trailer.
Granted the ability of flight, the pink critters are able to carry items and attack enemies in the air.
No release dates have yet been confirmed for either Europe or Japan.
