ATLUS has not ruled out Persona 3 Reload ever coming to Nintendo Switch, although has admitted that it had not originally planned for the remake to come to the portable home console.
It was seen as a strange omission. Not only has Unreal Engine 4 been used to power the remake, but Nintendo Switch has become quite the home for its popular series – with Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Persona 4 Golden, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Strikers and, most recently, Persona 5 Tactica all available on it.
“Since we began conceptualising everything that would come in Persona 3 Reload, we decided that there would be no version for the Nintendo Switch,” P-Studio director Takuya Yamaguchi and producer Ryota Niitsuma explained to Atomix. “Of course, the idea is there, but it’s a matter of discussing it with the team and seeing what they think about it. We’ll see what happens.”
Pitched as “a captivating reimagining of the genre-defining RPG, reborn for the modern era with cutting-edge graphics and gameplay,” in Persona 3 Reload you will have the chance to step into the shoes of a transfer student thrust into an unexpected fate when entering the hour ‘hidden’ between one day and the next.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:

Persona 3 Reload will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC worldwide on 2 February 2024.
