Bugbomb Games has announced that Gerrrms will release on Nintendo Switch later this month.

This multiplayer party brawler promises “microscopic brawls of epic proportions,” in which you control germs as they fight for dominance inside the human body.

There are 12 characters to play as in seven games modes where you will compete against up to four players in local multiplayer.

Those modes include Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Hot Potato, Synapse Snatch, Gobble and Antibody, with the chance to use single-celled moves and power-ups such as dirty mines, microscopic missiles or lightning-fast dashes to outpace your opponents.

“Since gaining second place at the Big Indie Pitch we couldn’t wait to bring Gerrrms to the Nintendo Switch – It’s multiplayer mechanics and accessibility lends perfectly to the console.” explains Bugbomb Games co-founder Robert Kujawa. “This will be the first time that germs get good press and we’re happy it will be in such an entertaining manner.”

Gerrrms will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 23rd July 2020 priced at £8.99 ($9.99).
