Focus Home Interactive and Lightbulb Crew have released a new tips trailer for Othercide on Nintendo Switch.

“We’ve been thrilled by how Othercide was received by players all over the world. We and our publisher for Othercide, Focus Home Interactive, have taken risks to bring a new twist on the tactical genre, and we are thrilled to see that our community has loved what we proposed,” explains Lightbulb Crew CEO and creative director Anders Larsson.

“We know that Othercide is not a walk in the park, it has deep gameplay mechanics, but we enjoyed spending a lot of time watching players experiencing combos, and innovative moves exploiting our Dynamic Timeline System. We also wanted to give newcomers a few tips to master our innovative mechanics faster – so here comes our Tips Trailer.”

This horror-based tactical role-playing game is set in a dark and mysterious universe in which you must prepare to confront Suffering and the Nightmare Creatures.

You will join the Daughters, echoes of the greatest warrior to have ever lived. They are all that stand before Suffering and death, and you will be challenged to lead your army into battle with all the skill that you can muster.

Your success and failures will determine their fate, shaping their abilities and personality as you choose whether to sacrifice one to heal another with the survivors becoming ever-stronger for the next battle that they must face.

In battle, you will use the Dynamic Timeline System to outsmart your enemies, planning ahead of time to set up impressive chains of abilities to defeat your enemies. The boss battles will see you face the sources of Suffering, dreaded creatures that have been pulled from Humanity’s worst crimes that it has committed against itself.

Othercide will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Summer 2020.
