Shiro Games has announced that its medieval open-world tactical RPG Wartales is now available on Nintendo Switch.
After the Great Plague ravaged already unfair lands, strife and struggle are all that remain. With simple countrymen forced to become sellswords. Recruiting a deadly team that can handle any threat and execute any job, you must bribe, threaten and kill to survive to overcome turn-based battles against vicious beasts, roadside bandits, corrupt diplomats and more.
You will have the chance to explore ancient ruins, echoing caves and steep mountainsides, positioning your party to carry out well-coordinated assaults. Looting and collecting payment before setting up camp, you will be able to repair your armour by the fire and learn new skills after well-deserved meals – upgrading stats, armour and weapons to fortify your ranks before setting out on your next mission.
