OlliOlli World Cinematic Trailer Brings Radlandia To Life

Private Division and Roll7 have shared a cinematic trailer for OlliOlli World, which will release on Nintendo Switch in the coming weeks.

This brings Radlandia to life “in all its majestic colourful animated glory,” looking to celebrate “the incredible skate tracks, larger-than-life (and occasionally tasty) characters and awe-inspiring world.”

Promising “a bold new direction” for the series, the skateboarding action-platformer will whisk you to Radland as you search for the mystical skate gods on your quest for Gnarvana.

You will have the chance to customise your character’s looks, tricks and style before exploring levels that hold multiple paths, which will lead you to discover all the secrets that the skate utopia hides.

While you can expect “super tight controls combined with a highly-refined gameplay experience,” the developer has made sure that new players will be able to enjoy the game’s deep combo system while pros can prove their skills in mastering new moves and competing against rivals around the world in player leagues.

The game has two asynchronous multiplayer modes: Gnarvana League and Gnarvana Portal. “The Gnarvana League is designed for those who love a challenge and want to prove their skate mastery. Leagues pit you against other players with similar skills to compete for the highest score. As contenders advance through the ranks, they get their hands (and feet) on new character items – including boards, wheels, and more,” the publisher explains.

“In Gnarvana Portal, players can generate original levels based on a selection of parameters like style, difficulty, and length. Each creation comes with a unique virtual 8-digit postcode which can be shared with anyone in the world, enabling players to compete against each other cross-platform.”

OlliOlli World will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 8th February 2022.
