It’s nearly been 18 years since Super Mario 64 leapt players into another dimension on Nintendo 64, and now OverClocked ReMix have honoured Nintendo’s icon with his own dedicated album.

Super Mario 64: Portrait of a Plumber has been seven years in the making, and is the community’s first album that covers music plucked, re-orchestrated and remixed from the Mario series.

Director Justin “Nutritious” Medford organised the project with musical and visual artists to create 21 tracks, while art contest winner José Ruvalcaba provides the cover for the free, 2-disc download. If you’re interested, which we hope you are, it can be downloaded through the OC ReMix website.
