No plans for Wii release of Telltale’s Back to the Future episodic series

Whilst Telltale Games have released a number of immensely popular episodic series for Wii, including detective duo Sam & Max and Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People, it would seem that the developer doesn’t have any plans to release their latest venture, based upon the cult classic Back to the Future films, for Nintendo’s console.

Having noticed the console’s omission from the latest press release, Nintendo Life contacted the developer to find out more… only to learn information that many Wii owners won’t want to hear.

“We don’t have any plans to release Back to the Future on the Wii platform at this time,” stated Alan Johnson, Telltale Games’ Community Manager, in response.

Of course, the key words there were “at this time” meaning that whilst it won’t hit the console alongside PlayStation 3, PC, Mac and PC later this year, we can still hope that it will see an eventual release for Wii.
