No Plans For Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 On Nintendo Switch

Activision held their Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 community reveal event last week, at which Treyarch had detailed how they have looked to raise the bar with multiplayer, that the game will have three Zombies experiences and a new battle royale mode called Blackout that will feature characters and locations plucked from across the four Black Ops games.

It won’t be coming to Nintendo Switch though, as, to close a roundtable interview with senior producer Yale Miller and gameplay designer Matt Scronce, Twinfinite asked whether there were any plans to bring any aspect from the game to Nintendo Switch, to which Miller responded: “No, there is not.”

The question came in response to a rumour that had surfaced last month, that had suggested that the new Blackout battle royale mode would receive a standalone release on Nintendo Switch.

That mode comes in response to the phenomenal global popularity that now surrounds PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite, with both games parachuting 100 players on an island where they must scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill the other players and be the last man standing.
