Tokyo is coated in ink within Nintendo’s new TV advert to help promote Wii U exclusive, Splatoon.

We open with a skyline view of Japan’s capital, before shifting to an aerial view of the city’s famous Shibuya Crossing. Here, we discover rival Inklings splattering ink everywhere be that on buildings, staircases or across car parks, with one swimming along in Squid form before leaping out the side of a tall building to land in a now more colourful Shibuya Crossing.

Splatoon will launch exclusively for Wii U in Japan on May 28th, and everywhere else worldwide on May 29th.
