Nintendo TVii will launch for Wii U in December, Nintendo of America have confirmed.
The application allows users to find, watch and engage with TV shows, movies and sports, with the Wii U GamePad combining as a program guide, remote control and social interaction service.
You will be able to comment on moments as they happen during live TV, sharing such thoughts through Miiverse, Facebook and Twitter.
It will be available for no additional charge, and works with existing cable and satellite channels.
There are currently no confirmed plans to bring the service to Europe.
