Nintendo has released a new Nintendo Switch system update worldwide, with the portable home console’s current firmware version now 18.0.0.

While there are the usual “system stability improvements,” the update has also introduced an option for the console to enter Sleep Mode after 15 minutes of inactivity when playing on your TV.

The update has since been datamined, with OatmealDome observing: “Pretty much every system component was updated. This is normal for major updates, as the entire OS is rebuilt with a newer SDK version.” They went on to add that Nintendo had updated the banned words list that it blocks on the console.
