Nintendo Switch Release Date Locked In For March 3rd Worldwide

After a three month wait, it has been announced that Nintendo Switch will release worldwide on Friday 3rd March.

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima confirmed the date at the company’s Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, where more details were shared about their next home gaming system.

Nintendo Switch will be priced at £279.99 on the Nintendo Official UK Store, and $299.99 in North America.

Those that are looking to pick one up will find that the console will come with Joy-Con (L) and Joy-Con (R) controllers, a Joy-Con grip, a set of Joy-Con wrist straps, a Nintendo Switch dock, a HDMI cable and an AC adapter.

There will be two versions available to choose between at retailers: one with two grey Joy-Con controllers, and another with one neon blue and one neon red Joy-Con.

Nintendo Switch will launch worldwide on Friday 3rd March.
