More Wii U details have surfaced, as Nintendo have confirmed that the console will utilise a NetFront browser (NX v2.1).
Wii U owners will be able to run the browser on either your television or the GamePad’s screen, and will support sing-touch screen functionality.
Nintendo have stated that you won’t be able to save, download or upload pictures or videos, and it will also not support plug-ins such as Flash.
It will support HTML 5 and, according to released benchmarks, its capabilities allow it to outperform current consoles, as well as Internet Explorer 10 on PC.
AAC codec support is available for sound, whereas video formats and codecs include H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC Video) and MP4.
Wii U will launch across North America on November 18th, with a November 30th release date for Europe.
