Whilst Pokémon X and Pokémon Y saw maintenance earlier in the week, today sees Nintendo turn their attention to the Wii U.
Between 2.15pm and 3pm (GMT) the company notes that online play and rankings will be affected for Wii Sports Club, which notably occurs during the Nintendo Direct.
Whether it’s paving the way for additional sports is unclear – Baseball, Boxing and Golf still on the way – although it will likely make an appearance within Satoru Iwata’s broadcast later today.
