Nintendo Gallery To Showcase The Company’s History

Nintendo Gallery Perspective Drawing

Nintendo has revealed that the Nintendo Uji Ogura Plant and the land surrounding the building “will be used as a new gallery to showcase the many products Nintendo has launched over its history.”

Tentatively named Nintendo Gallery, the facility will showcase historical products, exhibits and experiences, and is expected to be completed in the 2023 fiscal year (ending March 2024).

The Nintendo Uji Ogura Plant will be renovated to accommodate the gallery, which will be used to share the company’s product development history and philosophy with the public.

With the decision coming after considering The City of Uji’s plan to redevelop the nearby Ogura Station area, the Uji Ogura Plant had been used to manufacture both playing cards and Hanafuda cards and had also operated as a customer service centre for product repairs.
