Nintendo has once again acknowledged that users may be experiencing difficulties when attempting to buy games on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch.
Since 5.15am JST (8.15pm GMT), users have reported being unable to access the digital store in multiple regions. It has now been more than four hours now since the issue was detected, although it looks like the service is starting to be restored.
Nintendo has since apologized for any inconvenience that the problem has caused, and moving to assure everyone that they are working hard to rectify it.
As to what has happened to cause the issue remains unclear with the company only referencing that users are “unable to connect to the network service,” recommending that those encountering any problems simply try again later.
